Office of SingHealth Academy

The Office of SingHealth Academy comprises 8 departments that offer a full range of services, resources and facilities to allow healthcare institutions to focus on what they do best – providing premier healthcare education programmes.

• Manages infrastructural needs such as training facilities, the academic faculty, as well as training programmes.
• Operates the Academy’s Computer Skills & Simulation Centre.
• Through collaborations with relevant partners, the department coordinates and develops non-medical training programmes that range from healthcare management to faculty development programmes, etc.

Curriculum Development and Research

• Works with residency program directors to develop curriculum and program evaluation system for Residency Programs
• Curriculum development for training & education related to medical, nursing, allied health, health management & leadership

Education Communications

• Manages marketing and communications efforts to achieve a consistent and strong SingHealth Academy brand that aligns with SingHealth’s corporate vision and strategic direction.
• Conceptualises and develops publicity materials such as the Academy’s website, publications, and other education collaterals.

Education Publishing

• Spearheads the publishing and production of medical and healthcare publications. 
• Publishes the Grey Cell, Red Cell and White Cell imprints of medical and healthcare-related publications.

Education Technology

• Employs media and information technology to enhance education and communication within SingHealth.
• Oversees matters related to the implementation of information technology.
• Supports the SingHealth Cluster of institutions by providing consultancy services for various digital media projects, as well as production expertise for the development of educational materials such as eLearning programmes, digital teaching resources, audio and video content for broadcast, websites, etc.

Event Planning & Management

• Organises the Academy’s programmes and events, including conferences, courses, launches, seminars and workshops.
• Provides a complete range of event management solutions.

Fellowship & Alumni

• Coordinates activities and training programmes for international fellows.
• Sources and secures relevant training programmes for medical professionals to fulfil individual learning objectives. 
• Plans and implements events and programmes for the alumni of SingHealth’s healthcare training institutions to build and maintain strong links.

Finance & Administration

• Oversees educational operations and financial administration.
• Performs the human resource function for SingHealth Academy’s faculty and staff.
• Takes charge of administrative responsibilities, which include student recruitment, registration to fees collection, etc. 

Office of Student Affairs

• Liaises with students for all student-related matters from admissions, financial aid, and scholarships to accommodation.
• Operates the Student Enquiries Centre.
• Conducts orientation programmes.
