KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) is Singapore’s only integrated hospital for women and children. Offering 45 medical specialties in its care for women, babies and children, KKH’s legacy includes numerous medical advances in these fields.

As a teaching hospital affiliated to the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, KKH adequately prepares learners with:

Specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology, neonatology and paediatrics
Having cared for women and children since 1924, KKH has played a pivotal role as a teaching hospital in training doctors and nurses specialising in these fields.

A major tertiary referral centre for high-risk obstetrics, gynaecological oncology, urogynaecology, neonatology, paediatrics, paediatric bone-marrow transplants and paediatric open-heart surgeries, KKH offers physicians researching on these fields a wide range of medical cases.

High-technology training facilities and resources
KKH is equipped with advanced training facilities including the Paediatric Simulation Training Centre (PSTC) that is equipped with high-fidelity mannequins, the Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Basic Dry Training Lab for Obstetrical & Gynaecology (O&G) conditions, and even its own auditorium for conferences or seminars. Learners also have access to a sizeable collection of medical journals and publications in its library.
