Professional Development in Family Medicine
PRIME carries out various continual education activities for doctors involved in primary care through a wide range of teaching activities held at the SingHealth’s network of nine polyclinics.
Accredited by the Singapore Medical Council to conduct core family medicine continuing medical education (CME) programmes, the clinics have a stable of experienced trainers who are actively involved in family medicine training and examinations in Singapore.
Skills Enhancement Programmes (SEP) for Nurses and Pharmacists
The Nursing SEP is a structured programme to equip nurses with necessary skills to perform on various conditions commonly encountered in primary care. PRIME also organises monthly updates for nurses and pharmacists as part of their professional development activities.
Professional Development, Academic Workshops & Other Training Programmes
PRIME has also launched a series of professional development and academic workshops to address key topics like Retinal Photography, research, communication and pedagogy.
The SHP Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Programme – accredited by the National Resuscitation Council – provides resuscitation classes for both healthcare workers and members of the public.
