CME for ophthalmologists and general practitioners
To ensure that medical professionals are in touch with latest information and techniques on eye care services, the SNEC organises and conducts CME lectures, subspecialty courses, workshops, joint meetings with overseas institutions, nursing and paramedic training courses, etc.
Internationally acknowledged courses
Presented at internationally renowned ophthalmology conferences and conventions like the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons Meeting (ASCRS) and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), training programmes are lauded for their scope and quality.
Accredited training centre
The SNEC is an accredited training centre for Basic Specialist Training leading to the MRCS/MRCOphth degrees awarded by the College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
Advanced subspecialties training
Advanced training caters to specialists in various subspecialties such as Cataract & Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Vitreous and Retina, Cornea & Refractive Surgery, Glaucoma, Oculoplastic, Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus, Uveitis and Neuro-ophthalmology. Foreign specialists can also enrol in overseas fellowship and observership programmes in these subspecialties.
